Book Review: Zondervan's "Busy Mom's Bible"

by - Thursday, March 11, 2010

I am like most adults, I want a better relationship with God and am a work in progress. I have received a free copy of this book by Zondervan to review. The thoughts and opinions contained in this review are solely mine and were in no way swayed by anyone.

A few weeks ago I received a free copy of this book in the mail. Since then I have done a few of the inspirations, which are designed to promote Bible study for even the busiest of mom's. They are broken down into 1 minute, 5, and 10 minute devotionals depending on the amount of time that you have to study. These do literally take minutes to read. I start off with the 1 minute inspirations when the baby dozes off and then, depending on time, I continue on to the 5 and 10 minute studies. Reading this book has literally taken "me-time" to a whole new level for me spiritually. This book is especially helpful for me after stressful times with a fussy baby. I feel refreshed and hopeful after reading and if that is the only alone time I get that day, it's fine. This would make a great gift to any mom.
