Not my chops will be equally yummy
This is one of my favorite dishes. I like to use boneless chops when possible but the bone-in chops are cheaper. You can also substitute mushroom gravy for brown gravy. I like the mushroom because it adds another flavor for around the same price of the brown gravy. Whatever choices you use for your chops, they will come out great!

Ingredients: Pork chops, 1-2 cups gravy (canned or packet), oil
  1. In a heavy skillet or large pan heat two tablespoons of oil over medium high heat
  2. Salt and pepper both sides of the chop
  3. Sear both sides of the chops in the pan until golden brown.
  4. Pour 1/4 cup of water into the bottom of the pan.
  5. Cover for 5 minutes.
  6. Add in 1 cup gravy.
  7. Let chops simmer in gravy until cooked through.
  8. Season to taste.
Serve with rice or egg noodles. Caramelized onions would also be nice with this recipe.
