I Apologize - No Freebie Friday Tomorrow

Hey everyone! Due to personal issues I will not be able to post the Freebie Friday list tomorrow, but am hoping to get back to normal posting soon. I'm really sorry and hope that you'll still come back next week for more posts.

Please keep me and my family in your prayers. I've been praying so much myself that God will bring us through this. You are in my thoughts and prayers as well. Thanks so much for your support!

Mommy Mondays: Defending Being a Stay at Home Parent

On Saturday, while flipping through the channels I came across my favorite financial advice show "The Suze Orman Show." Suze was answering viewer questions and this one really hit home. It was about a stay at home dad who spends money going out to eat on the weekends and such. The wife was concerned because it seemed that he just spent the money (she earned) frivolously. Suze felt that the husband was trying to keep an image of himself by going out and spending this money. He was doing it to prove his worth to others.

Suze also said that being a SAHP (stay at home parent) is THE most important job! This statement really struck me. It seems I spend more time defending my choice to be a SAHP than enjoying it, and as a result, I haven't given my best to my family. My husband seems to be the most torn over "our" decision. I say "our" decision because we made it together.

Frugal Friend
Our host is A Frugal Friend

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've done a Mailbox Monday post. Since our move I haven't been requesting as many samples. Instead, I've been cashing in some of my deal vouchers. I "purchased" most of these deals using their free sign up credits making these FREE. Others, I were able to "purchase" with a $50 credit to a deal site won in a giveaway.

Evening Shoes from a deal voucher on Eversave (paid $.94 shipping!)
Matching kids book bag and umbrella from Kidorable (Eversave voucher)
4 Father's Day Cards from Tiny Prints (free credits)
Photo book from Pixable (LivingSocial voucher)
Basketball cut outs from a Listia Auction (for a project)

Not Pictured: Infant tee shirt from MyHabit.com (free with credit), business card holder from 1SaleADay and Huggies coupons.

Have you Triple Dipped Lately? A Review and $20 Chili's Gift card Giveaway!

My family currently consists of 3 members - me, hubby and our little one. So when we go out to eat, do we get 3 dinners? Nope, typically hubby gets his own while me and the little one split but we do all share the appetizer, which is why The Triple Dipper at Chili's is an awesome fit for us.

So it got me thinking. "If I could have any 3 of my favorite foods on one plate, what would they be?" A tough question but my final answers would be creme brulee, baklava, and roasted duck. Weird combo, right?

Well, Chili's Triple Dipper makes more sense. It's 3 foods on one plate, plus 3 dips to complement them! You select 3 of your favorite foods from this great list:
