Book #Review: 5 Minutes with Jesus By Shelia Walsh

by - Wednesday, April 20, 2016

We know that spending time with Jesus makes such a difference in our day. Busyness, however, often keeps us from following through. Sheila Walsh has penned a new devotional that will help us spend time with Jesus through short but meaningful daily readings. Each reading features a scripture, brief devotional thought, and a helpful takeaway to apply.

One of the reasons that I am such a fan of Sheila Walsh and her books is her combination of understanding, transparency and humor. It really is as though a sister is speaking gently to you as you read her books, this one included. It is easy for the reader to connect with her and the topics covered. The scripture is powerful and relevant to the daily topic and overall theme of “Making Today Matter.” This short devotional is easy to read, understand and is sized just right for your purse. I personally will be re-reading this one at least a few times. This would make a great gift for anyone you have in mind.
