The New YaySave.com

You may have heard of Yaysave.com if you are a Swagbucks user. For those who haven't YaySave! is a unique jewelry and watch shopping site, where deals are made based a group rate. It is almost like asking for a group discount on a service like the movies or other attraction except YaySave! has already done that for you and just needs enough people to take advantage of the deal so everyone can get it.
White, Pink or Black Pearl Hook Earrings
To see how the site works, I joined Yaysave! this afternoon. It was very simple to sign up and get immediate access to the deals. Earlier today this these $28.00 White, Pink or Black Pearl Hook Earrings were on sale for $9.00 but I decided to wait. Then, they made an announcement on Facebook stating that the price had dropped to $3.50! I couldn't pass that up so I joined the group, which consists of selecting your desired item, choosing your payment option and filling out billing/shipping information.

Then you have the option to share your deal via email, Facebook, Twitter and other social networks or if you decide to share later just click the cute "Recruit" button under your deal. Sharing is the best way to make sure that your deal goes through. I shared my deal with friends via email and twitter. Right now my order is waiting for the 48hr deadline and, if approved, then it will be shipped within 1-2 business days.  If not, my card is not charged and I will be on the search for another deal on their site.

Overall Opinion: I like the prices they have but am not completely sold on the group buying. With this method of buying you cannot count on actually acquiring a particular item until the deadline has been reached. If you were buying for a gift on short notice (as an example) this would not be a good option. Otherwise, it is an intriguing idea and I am anxious to see how my deal turns out. In the meantime, I hope you'll check them out at YaySave.com, on Facebook and Twitter.
