The benefit of cooking with a wok is that it disperses the heat better than a traditional pan and uses less oil for fried food. Utilize these skimmers for sampling your cooking or serving from the wok.

I first saw this product on several cooking shows and thought how great would it be to own one myself. They primarily used it for frying so I ordered this product for the same use - removing deep fried items from the hot oil. Unlike tongs, the wooden handle prevents heat from reaching my hand while the mesh part helps drain excess oil. This product can also be used for stir-frying in woks, skimming fat, and several other ways. The washing of wood items always has their problems eventually, but in the meantime, I will be using this product often. The price is reasonable enough to replace this product as needed.
