Are You a Woman of Faith?

This summer has been all about renewing and building my relationship with God. Over the past few years, I have let life get in the way of that relationship, but He was there all along trying to get my attention. I did finally get the message and have made God first in my life. Let me share with you that those years without my church family and having that fellowship with other Christians, my life just had a BIG hole in it.

That's why I'm so excited to be back home and on the right path!

Having just recently joined the ladies group this summer, for the first time I am truly learning what it means to be a woman of faith and am blessed to be surrounded by spiritually mature women of faith at my church. Almost every fall, the ladies group at my church attends the Women of Faith event in Atlanta, GA. I have always heard how amazing these events are for the ladies and was so excited when Booksneeze.com offered me the opportunity to attend and blog about this year's event! 

There will be speakers, musical guests and more! Since this is my first time attending, I was happy to find this preview video to get an idea of how amazing it will be to experience in person.






Here are a few facts about Women of Faith event's:
  • Began in 1996
  • Over 4 million women have attended an event
  • Events lasts 2 days but "the effect of those two days can last a lifetime."
  • There are 28 events scheduled for fall 2011
  • 160,000 children have been sponsored through World Vision by Women of Faith attendees.
